Global Support Services, LLC (GSS) is seeking a Functional Analyst II to provide day-to-day support of traffic, logistics and transportation operations and management, technical support, training and data administration and data analysis at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct support to Global Container Management (GCM) functional areas responsible for retrograde-redeployment of DoD containerized shipment and support the container and traffic management process flow as follows:
Track delivery of containers to find delivery points IAW contract terms and conditions and the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR).
Perform data gathering and information management actions required to record and update the Command’s record systems utilizing container management and other operations tools ( e.g., commercial software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access) to meet data collection and report generation requirements.
There is no expected travel for this position, with core hours of approximately 0800 – 1700 hrs Monday-Friday.

Job Requirements :
Required:
The individual working in this position must have experience applying knowledge of container management, logistics and quality assurance functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze and evaluate information used by DoD to manage the technical data used to track containers.
Will require a favorably completed ANACI or NACLC, resulting in SECRET eligibility when adjudicated the Defense Industrial Security Office. Interim SECRET clearance eligibility is accepted provided it was granted by the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience showing good communication, interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills.
Must be task oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work as team member as well as a team lead.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures andexpertise with Microsoft Office, such as working with Excel spreadsheets, word documents, PowerPoint briefs, managing emails, files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Analyzing needs and determine appropriate actions.
The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
Preferred:
Prior experience using SDDC GOTS software such as IBS, IBS-CMM, IBS-CSS, GATES, ACAMS, PAT, iSDDC, is desirable but not required. These are all transportation related systems/tools used to query container management data systems/tools to generate management information reports on a periodic basis. There is a high emphasis on preparing analysis of data gathered from the different systems used for Container Management.
Prior military experience also a plus, particularly in logistics or supply chain management.
