A mercenary is a defense contractor who works for wages. Foreign government usually hires a mercenary to resolve conflicts in that country. It is a dangerous but rewarding position. First, check your credentials. For example, if you have a background in law enforcement, or if you were honorably discharged from the military and still want to be in the military, a mercenary job might be perfect for you. Your next step would be to decide what type of mercenary you want to be.

Some examples of military jobs or mercenary positions would be a tactical medic, or a bodyguard for a politician, celebrity, or a high-profile executive. To be a mercenary, you must be trained to protect yourself from injury and to provide medical treatment for yourself and others. A disaster officer is responsible for protecting personnel and equipment in disastrous situations, such as an earthquake or a tsunami, where robbery and rioting is probable. There are many great opportunities and military jobs available today.

The soldier will maintain order and protect the area's food, health supplies, and weapons. You must maintain good physical shape, so be sure to have a good exercise routine. Combat training and martial arts is a perfect way to do this. Keep yourself updated on technology advances, new tactics, weapons, and any new methods of defense. Next, do some research, and check out military opportunity corporations that are in need of soldiers.

Visit their website for more information. Some examples of a military opportunity with organizations are KBR, Blackwater Worldwide, DynCorp International, Aegis Defense Services, and ArmorGroup International. As mercenaries are usually hired to work in foreign countries, it is a great idea to learn as many foreign languages as you possibly can. The more languages you speak, the better your chances will be. You can either take language courses online or at your local community college for a military job in the future. There are tons of military opportunities available.
